- Thin Slices of Sirloin Steak (12 ounces)
- Vegetable Oil (2 tsp)
- Ground Ancho Chili Pepper (1 tsp)
- Kosher Salt (1 tsp)
- Thin Slices of Onions (1 Cup)
- Thin Slices of Red Sweet Pepper (1 Cup)
- Thin Slices of Mushroom (1 Cup)
- Mince Garlic (Two Cloves)
- Mexican Beer (1/4th of a Cup)
- Tomato Salsa (1/2 Cup)
- Chicken Broth (1/2 Cup)
- Butter (2 tsp)
- Freshly Cilantro (1/2 tsp)
Get all the ingredients of Sabana De Res and then start cooking:
Light a stove and turn the heat to medium; take a large skillet and put it on heat. Heat up the skillet a little and pour the vegetable oil into the skillet. Heat up the oil until it starts to sizzle. Add beef strips to the skillet and cook the strips for half a minute. Cook strips for 40 to 50 seconds on both sides, and then add freshly ground ancho chili pepper and kosher salt.
After adding pepper and salt to the beef, let it cook for 4 to 5 minutes. Cook the beef strips through, and don’t allow any side of the beef strips to stay pink. Remove the beef skillets once they are done and put them on a plate. Set them aside, and now move on to other ingredients.

Once both items are tender, add more items to the skillet.
After cooking onions and garlic, add mushrooms. Let the mushrooms sauté for some time. Sauté it for 2 or 3 minutes; sometimes, it will take more time. Let it cook until you feel they are done. After the mushrooms are done, add the Mexican beer to the skillet. Let it cook for a time, and then add chicken broth with Tomato salsa. Let the mixture cook for a while, and stir it well while the mixture cooks for 6 to 7 minutes.
Keep stirring the mixture while it’s cooking, and keep cooking until half the mixture is left. The mixture will get thick and will have a structure like a sauce. Once half of the mixture is left, add the 2 tsp butter to the skillet. Now add the beef that you set aside and let it cook for some time. Remove from the stove and stir the mixture for a while and close the lid. Remove the lid after 3 or 4 minutes and sprinkle fresh Cilantro.
